Travel Day - Good Bye Puerto Natales

3rd Domestic Flight

sunny 29 °C

After a late night, it was really nice to sleep in, even though today was a travel day - I did not have an early morning flight. Headed back to Santiago today - but just for one night before continuing the adventure. The logistics of planning this trip was met with some challenges will coordinating certain flights on certain days with certain times. There was no flights from Puerto Natales to where I am headed next, without stopping in Santiago, and then the flight is early the next day. No biggie - First World Problems, really.

The Uber to the airport was only about $4 and it was a small airport - really only enough space in the terminal for one flight of passsengers. You definitely would not get lost. I saw all the luggage ready to go on the plane - hopefully my suitcase was in that big pile.

The flight was uneventful with a smooth 3 hour flight back to Santiago. It took only 25 minutes or so for me to get off the plane, get my luggage and check into my hotel. The hotel was literally across the roadway from the terminal. My room was on the top floor and I could see all the planes taking off. Relaxing evening - I'm sure I will find a bar in this place!!!
